SUMMARY:Book club – with Camilla Sherr
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce that the first book club of the year will be with guest author Honorary Fellow Camilla Sherr.\nCamilla will be discussing her book ‘Beyond Organic:Homeopathic Plant Health from the Ground Up.\nWhat if we could garden in true harmony with nature — gently, effectively and with powerful results?\nOrganic and Regenerative gardening and farming methods have made great advances in restoring natural practices and removing harmful toxins. Agrihomoeopathy takes us one step further. By applying well-tested, highly effective homeopathic principles and remedies, we can stimulate the health, vitality and immunity of both plants and soil.\nHomeopathy is one of the most widely used systems of alternative medicine in the world, helping millions of people stay well. Can the same principles work for plants? Yes — and in the most remarkable ways.\nIn this ground breaking guide, you’ll learn how to:\n\nDiagnose soil imbalances and treat them with potentised remedies\nStrengthen seeds and seedlings to improve germination and vitality\nBoost plants’ natural immunity against pests and disease\nIncrease yields and grow more nutritious food using remedies that work with nature, not against it\nEnhance companion planting with homoeopathy, creating resilient and thriving plant communities\nHelp in the difficult transition from non-organic to organic farming\n\n \nAbout Camilla Sherr (PCH, FSHom.)\nCamilla graduated from the Finnish Institute of Homoeopathy in 1994. In 1995–1997 she studied post-grad in London. In 1997 she travelled to Honduras with a charity called ‘Homoeopathy for Change’, volunteering for three months working in the poor barrios and teaching local doctors to use homeopathy. In 1998–2000 she taught the Dynamis School programme in Finland and conducted her first full proving of Scandium. In 2012–2015 she taught Dynamis again in Finland and conducted the proving of Honey. She has lectured in the UK, Japan, Denmark, Norway, Bulgaria, USA, Malta, Kenya, Tanzania, Swaziland, Morocco, New Zealand and Israel.\nIn 2002 she edited eight provings for the book Dynamic Provings – Volume 2. Camilla has been a prover in over twenty Dynamis provings and has published many articles in European and American journals.\nIn 2009 the Sherr family moved to Tanzania to work with people living with HIV/AIDS. She is the co-founder and director of Homoeopathy for Health in Africa (HHA), an NGO that offers homoeopathic healthcare for the poor. She established a kindergarten for the children of AIDS patients, which continues to operate and is run by a Finnish charity. In 2012 HHA won an award for a trial study she designed and managed, in which abdominal surgery patients were treated with homoeopathy.\nIn 2016, Camilla was awarded Fellow of the Society of Homoeopaths (FSHom) in the UK for her work in Africa.\nFrom 2020 to 2024 she served as President of the Finnish Society of Homoeopaths.\nCamilla is co-director of Dynamis School, an international post-graduate programme for homeopaths. Since 2011 she has pioneered the field of agrihomoeopathy – the treatment of plants with homeopathy. In May 2025 she published Beyond Organic, the first book in a trilogy on plant health.\nShe is married to Jeremy Sherr and is the mother of their three children.\nAll delegates will be added to a free prize draw and could win a Kindle copy of Camilla’s book.\nFree online event for Society Registered, Student Clinical and Student Plus members.\nNominal charge for Student Essential members. Society members only.\nTop up your CPD points!\nOne Society CPD point for this bookclub\n \n
