DESCRIPTION:What is supervision, what can it look like and where can we find that support. What is mentoring and how does that differ from supervision ?\nWe often first experience supervision at college for guidance and help while working on our clinical portfolio. \nAs we step into practice or at a later date as an established practitioner it is useful when reflecting on our practice. Supervision helps us deal with tricky situations or challenging cases.  It can also help us to see how we can sustain ourselves in our work and support our personal reflection as professional homeopaths.\nWhat can we take to supervision ? How do we find the right person and peer group to support us in a confidential space?\nIn the summer My Practice, Registered member Lyssa Clayton will explore how supervision and mentoring can support you and your practice.\nAbout Lyssa\nRegistered member Lyssa Clayton is an experienced Homeopath working in East Lothian, in Edinburgh and via on-line consultations.\nFor several years Lyssa was involved in childbirth education, pregnancy and breastfeeding support before delving deeper into homeopathy study.\nSince  graduating in 1998 Lyssa has continued learning by attending a wide range of Continuing Professional Development seminars, courses and Masterclasses.
